A couple of years ago I started watching The Fosters’ spin-off series, Good Trouble. As a non-US person, the plot seemed so hyperbolic that I considered that show full of bullshit. Two years later, US is boiling up and people are protesting for justice of a dead black man murdered by Minneapolis police. It is so surreal that now I can see the connection between Jamal’s story in Good Trouble and the poor man. That is sad, but I’m happy Americans are speaking up and demanding justice.
